Tavern On Ridge To Offer Darling Nikki's BBQ With New Partnership

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA — Barbecue lovers in and around Roxborough will soon have a new option to get their smoky, sweet, and savory meats. Tavern on Ridge is partnering with Darling Nikki's BBQ to offer the South Philly barbecue pros' grub in Roxborough.

The tavern and barbecue company announced their partnership Monday, Aug. 12.

"Darling Nikki's BBQ is leaving our commissary kitchen in South Philly to open a brick and mortar restaurant in Roxborough," Darling Nikki's BBQ said on its Facebook page. "We are partnering with The Tavern On Ridge to bring our tasty BBQ back to our own hood!"

Darling Nikki's BBQ pitmaster Nikki LaMay has lived in Roxborough for the last seven years, according to the post.

"It's always been a dream to be part of this neighborhood she calls home and to work alongside all the people in the neighborhood who have helped to build Darling Nikki's BBQ into what it is now," the post reads.

New barbecue fare will be available at the Tavern on Ridge Aug.25, according to the watering hole's Facebook page.
