Teen Dies In West Philadelphia Shooting Sunday
A 17-year-old boy died after being shot in a hail of gunfire Sunday in West Philadelphia. Police are investigating the fatal incident.

PHILADELPHIA – A teenage died after being injured by a hail of gunfire in West Philadelphia late Sunday afternoon and police are investigating the fatal incident.
Anthony Gibbs, 17, of the 5800 block of Walton Street, died Sunday after being shot multiple times in his torso, police said.
At about 4:44 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of South 57th Street for a report of a person with a gun and a hospital case.

Police arrived on scene and found Gibbs suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
Gibbs was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center where he later died from his injuries, police said.

According to Action News, about 12 shots were fired in the incident and that police found three handguns in the bushes outside of a home on 57th Street.
