Temple Students Robbed While Playing Pokemon Go: Report

Temple University students were robbed near campus while playing the new Pokemon Go video game, according to a report.

Two Temple students were robbed while playing the new Pokemon Go game on a street near the campus of the university, according to 6 ABC.

A robbery occurred on the corner of North 16th and Oxford Streets in North Philadelphia, Temple University confirmed.

A man wearing a mask approached the students early in the morning on Tuesday, Temple said.

6 ABC reports that the students were playing Pokemon Go when they were robbed, but this was not corroborated by Temple.

He then took cash from them and ran away, officials said.
