Temporary Schedule Change Planned for Manayunk/Norristown Line

Track work being performed on the Manayunk/Norristown Line will cause schedule changes from Sept. 2 until Sept. 14.

There will be a change in the schedule on SEPTA’s Manayunk/Norristown Regional Rail line due to track work being performed from Sept. 2 until Sept. 14, the Times Herald reports.

During the weekday track work, most trains headed to center city that depart from Main St., Norristown Transportation Center, Conshohocken, Spring Mill and Miquon Stations will leave earlier than normal.

During the weekend, shuttle buses will replace train service between Wissahickon Transportation Center (WTC) and Norristown (Elm St.) Station on Sept. 6 and 7 and Sept. 13 and14.

During this time, there will be no direct inbound service to Miquon, Ivy Ridge, and Manayunk Stations, SEPTA officials tell the Times Herald.

SEPTA recommends riders check the schedules frequently.
