Tens Of Thousands In Merchandise Stolen From Manayunk Store In Armed Robbery

Police are seeking three men who are suspected to have robbed a Manayunk store at gunpoint and tied up two people inside it Wednesday, according to Philadelphia Police.

Police said Remix Designer Consignment store on Main Street in Manayunk was robbed at about 5:30 p.m.

Police said when they arrived they found two employees who said a male entered the store asking for a deisgner handbag.

The employees said the male walked to the back of the store and asked for help choosing a suit and then pulled a silver handgun on the employees when they came to assist him, police said.

The suspect tied the employees to chairs with flex cuffs and then let two other men into the store, police said. All three men then took various items including handbags, jewelry, clothing, wallets, and more. Police said the estimated value of the items stolen is about $60,000.

After taking the items, the men fled the area in an unknown direction, police said.

According to police the suspected were described as:

• A black male in his 30s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, dark complexion, slim build, wearing a dark Gucci hat, sunglasses, a dark vest, and brown work pants.

• A black male in his 30s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, dark complexion, slim build, dark Gucci hat, dark shirt and navy blue or black sweatpants.

• A black male in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, wearing a dark hooded sweat jacket.
