Third Annual Roxborough Solstice Music Festival: What To Know

ROXBOROUGH -- On Saturday, June 11 Gorgas Park will host the 3rd Annual Roxborough Solstice Music Festival.

This year’s event will showcase 10 regionally and nationally acclaimed musical performers, crafts bazaar, local vendors, delectable foods, as well as the Solstice Beer Garden, according to an event press release.

Tommy Conwell, Ben Arnold, Zach Djanikian Band, RoseMary Fiki, Hannah Taylor & The Rekardo Lee Trio, Cookie Rabinowitz, Song Dogs, Hurricane Hoss, Jeff Selby of the Quixote Project, Paul Keen & Pawn Shop Roses, PhillyBloco as well as the Philadelphia School of Rock headline the lineup.

This free family friendly event will feature rides, games and prizes for children and will be highlighted with a lighting celebration set to take place at sunset, 8:30 p.m.

This summer solstice celebration is expected to top numbers of previous years and continues to service the Northwest Philadelphia community and beyond, according to event organizers.

The festival will begin at noon and will continue until 9 p.m.

The event is being organized by the Roxborough Development Corporation and the Friends of Gorgas Park.
