Tickets Go On Sale For Philly Zoo Summer Ale Festival
The festival combines regional craft beers, some of the city's best food trucks, and an after-dark look at the zoo's majestic creatures.

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- Tickets are now on sale for Philadelphia Zoo’s Summer Ale Festival, a summer event featuring regional craft beers and samplings of cuisine for purchase from a selection of some of the city's most heralded food trucks, the zoo has announced.
The festival combines exceptional food and drink, live music and games all in the company of the majestic great apes, astonishing big cats and other wildlife that call Philadelphia Zoo home. The fun takes place on Saturday, July 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., the zoo said.
With an impressive crop of regional craft brews, Philadelphia and its surrounding areas have much to offer beer enthusiasts. This year, more than 30 renowned breweries will participate, offering guests award-winning seasonal ales and selections of the brewers’ choosing.

Breweries on tap will include Angry Orchard, Chatty Monks Brewing Co., Coney Island Brewing Co., Conshohoken Brewing Co., Dark Horse Brewing Co., Dc Brau Brewing Company, Dock Street Brewery, Evil Genius Beer Company, Evolution Craft Brewing Co., Fordham & Dominion Brewing Co., Lakefront Brewery, Inc., Manayunk Brewing Co., Naked Brewing Co., Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co., Old Forge Brewing Co., Philadelphia Brewing Co., River Horse Brewing Co., Round Guys Brewing Co., Saint Benjamin Brewing, Samuel Adams Brewery, Stable 12 Brewing Co., Starr Hill Brewery, Tall Tales Brewing Company, Penn Brewery, The Traveler Beer Company, Victory Brewing Co., Wyndridge Farm Brewing, Yards Brewing Co., and Yuengling Brewery.
“Summer Ale Festival is a hit every year and is a testament to the Zoo’s dedication in continuing to create world-class guest experiences for our 21 and older guests," said Amy Shearer, Philadelphia Zoo’s Chief Marketing Officer, in a press release. “It’s a unique way to spend an evening at the zoo; enjoying the company of friend, while tasting unique and delicious ale and food, listening to music and visiting your favorite animals."

Tickets to Philadelphia Zoo’s Summer Ale Festival include unlimited beer samples, a souvenir tasting cup, on-site parking and shuttle service to and from 30th Street Station. This event is limited to those 21 years of age or older with valid identification. Tickets are available at www.PhiladelphiaZoo.org.
