Celebrate family, feasting, and the upcoming Fourth of July Parade (a wee bit early) on Tuesday, May 23, by coming to Dining for Dollars at Pina’s Pizza & A Family Restaurant, Roxborough Market Square, 8919 Ridge Ave (between Manatawna Ave & Old Line Rd) in Andorra. Dining for Dollars, sponsored by the 21st Ward Fourth of July Parade Association, runs from 10 am to 10 pm, when Pina’s will donate 10% of all sales to support the Independence Day Parade of Sunday Schools and Churches. Enjoy a mouth-watering and delicious selection of steaks or chicken steaks, hoagies, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, wings, homemade pasta, Italian specialties, seafood, and of course, pizza! [This writer’s favorite is the Chicken Marsala…Yum!]

The 21st Ward Fourth of July Association is pleased to announce that Ridge Avenue United Methodist Church, celebrating its 170th anniversary of service to Christ and Community, will be the lead church. It is the honor of the lead church to choose a Bible verse as the parade theme. Ridge Avenue United Methodist, under the under the pastorate of Ms. Debra Coulbourn, has chosen: “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” Psalms 133:1 New International Version (NIV)
