Vehicle Stolen In Roxborough, Credit Cards Found Inside Used: Police

ROXBOROUGH, PHILADELPHIA – Police in Philadelphia are searching for two people suspected of stealing a vehicle in Roxborough, then using the credit cards they found inside it at a store.

According to police, a vehicle was stolen between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10 from a parking area at Bells Mill Road and Forbidden Drive in a section of Wissahickon Valley Park that lies in Roxborough.

Since the vehicle contained the victim's purse, the suspects are believed to have used the cards a short time later, police said.

Police said two people were then caught on security footage at a store where the cards were used around that same time.

The suspects are described as a black male and a black female, police said.

If these suspects are spotted the public should not approach them. Rather, the public should contact 911 immediately.
