Virtual Talk To Discuss Wissahickon's History Of Maps

Friends of the Wissahickon's Instagram Editor Brad Maule and Executive Director Ruffian Tittmann will lead the talk next week.

PHILADELPHIA — The public is invited to attend Friends of the Wissahickon's next Fall Valley Talk next week that will feature the group's Instagram Editor Brad Maule and Executive Director Ruffian Tittmann.

Maule and Tittman will explore maps of the Wissahickon, from the earliest days of Philadelphia and the young Fairmount Park Commission to FOW's official maps, from printed trail maps to the Map App.

Maule’s writing and photography have appeared in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia magazine, and numerous other publications in print and online. He was the founder and editor of Philly Skyline and a contributing editor for Hidden City Philadelphia.

Maule serves as communications manager for Mt. Airy CDC.

He has managed FOW’s Instagram account since 2016 and has been obsessed with maps since childhood.

The event will take place on Zoom from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10.
