Wall Collapses Amid High Winds In Philadelphia: Fire Department
Part of a wall collapsed Monday morning in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood as strong winds plague the region.
PHILADELPHIA — A wall collapsed Monday in Philadelphia and strong winds could have played a role.
The Philadelphia Fire Department said crew sresponded to a wall collapse on the 1300 block of N. 5th. Street in Kensington at about 9:15 a.m. Monday.
Officials said it appeared the wall of a one-story building collapsed into a parking lot.

The fire department could not provide details on any potential injuries.
According to WHYY, bricks from the wall fell on a car parked nearby.

The city's Licenses and Inspections Department was notified and responded to the scene.
