A Philly burger joint that is used to attention is getting more of it in response to its latest creation—the Donut Cheesesteak Burger.
PYT, located on N.Hancock St in Norther Liberties, debuted its newest creation about a week ago, and it’s already getting nationwide interest. Chef Kim Malcolm tells the Philadelphia Inquirer that the concoction consists of burger in a grilled glazed donut, topped with cheddar, steak meat, fried onion and Cheese Whiz.
Representatives from the restaurant have appeared on Fox29 and are scheduled to be on Fox and Friends on Aug. 10 to show off their new dish.

PYT owner Tommy Up admits to NBC10 that the reactions have not all been positive. “Every time we come out with something that’s pretty extraordinary we get a lot of comments from people online about how unhealthy it is,” Up said. “But I know those are the burgers that’ll do really well when we get extreme reactions,” he said.
