Woman Steals Tip Jar From Manayunk's Insomnia Cookies

MANAYUNK -- A woman allegedly stole the tip jar from the Insomnia Cookies in Manayunk on March 22, according to a Philadelphia Police Department arrest report.

The suspect, a black woman in her early twenties, entered the store at about 1:40 p.m. on March 22, police said.

She stood about 5'5 tall, and had braids, police said.

She took the tip jar from the counter and immediately fled, according to police.

She was last seen on Main Street heading south toward Shurs Lane, police said.

Insomnia Cookies is located on 4319 Main Street.
