Young Couple Killed In Fairmount Park Were Targeted: Report
The brutal Fairmount Park murders were not random killings.
A young couple killed in a quiet neighborhood in Fairmount Park on Friday were targeted, according to an NBC 10 report.
The bodies of the 25-year-old woman and 32-year-old man were found at about 2:40 p.m. Friday by maintenance crews, the report states.
They were discovered in their car just blocks from the Schuylkill River and Kelly Drive, according to the report, near the historic Lemon Hill Mansion.

Although not immediately adjacent to Manayunk, the location is only a short ride down the Schuylkill River Trail from Main Street Manayunk.
Their identities have not yet been released but police do not believe the killings were random, the report states.
