Young Girl, Man Dead In Apparent Manayunk Murder-Suicide: Police
The girl, 7, was found with a bag over her head and the man, 45, was found dead from an apparent suicide on Wilde Street in Manayunk.
MANAYUNK, PHILADELPHIA – A young girl from Bucks County and an adult man believed to be her father were found dead in a Manayunk home Monday morning in what authorities believe may be a murder-suicide, according to Philadelphia Police.
According to police, 7-year-old girl, identified as Kayden Mancuso by the Pennsbury School District, and 45-year-old man were found dead in a home on the 4500 block of Wilde Street in Manayunk at about 10:55 a.m.
Action News identified the man as her father, Jeff Mancuso.

The girl was found by her stepfather with a bag over her head and the man was found dead from an apparent suicide in a bedroom, police said.
Both were pronounced dead at 11:07 a.m.

The district alerted parents to the tragic death via email Monday afternoon.
"We send our deepest condolences to the family," Edgewood Principal Stephanie Hultquist said in the email to families. "We will keep Kayden close in our hearts."
The district is providing counseling services at Edgewood Elementary School from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday Aug. 8 and Thursday, Aug. 9.
