• Schuylkill Haven press box, student media center donated by local business (republicanherald.com) — Schuylkill Haven residents now have a new press box, student media center, and concession stand at the high school baseball field thanks to a donated building from Bob and Diane Greene of Pioneer Pole Buildings. The gift, valued around $75,000, will boost game-day operations and fundraising while giving student broadcasters a dedicated space to grow the district’s livestream sports coverage. 
• Penn State Schuylkill celebrates third annual Nursing Pinning Ceremony (psu.edu) — Penn State Schuylkill in Schuylkill Haven recently honored 29 new bachelor’s-level nursing graduates with its third annual pinning ceremony. Local students heard encouraging messages from faculty, alumni, and classmates, received their nursing pins, and took part in traditions like the lamp lighting and professional pledge as they prepare to begin their nursing careers.
