Animal Friends Presents: Glenda!

Check back every week for more adoptable, adorable animals from Animal Friends!

Glenda, a Pit Bull mix, loves to please and is very sweet.

She likes to be near her favorite volunteers. She gets very excited when they approach her kennel to take her for a walk, but calms down quickly once she is leashed up and outside. She loves all of the new-found affection and attention she receives at Animal Friends, which is understandable, considering her past. Glenda and her siblings were confiscated from a neglectful situation where they were living outside without water, food and with very little shade and protection. They relied mostly on neighbors for their food and lived in small confined areas.

Glenda is smart and learns quickly. She has spent some time on our agility course and learned all but one piece in 30 minutes. If there was a canine version of the Olympics, we would sign her up!

Glenda likes spending time in our play yards, loves to go for long walks and is very polite about walking on a leash. We think she would be a great companion for someone who enjoys hiking, jogging and living an active lifestyle.

If you are looking for a friendly, wiggly bundle of love, stop by and meet Glenda.

She will be happy to meet you.
