The following people were charged and scheduled for preliminary hearings Feb. 8 at District Judge Robert Ford's office in Leetsdale:

• Matthew Summerville, 27, of Moon Township, charged with possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia. Sewickley Police reported Summerville admitted to having syringes, a spoon and empty heroin stamp bags in his vehicle Oct. 1 in the 700 block of Beaver Street in Sewickley. The charges were reduced to a summary and moved to non-traffic.
