In Memoriam: Paintings by Carolyn L. Coyle

Join Sweetwater Center of the Arts in remembering a talented local artist, Carolyn L Coyle.

plans to remember talented Sewickley artist, with an exhibition in April.

"In Memoriam" features the paintings of the late Carolyn L. Coyle, a well-known and loved local artist.

A graduate of Carnegie Tech, now Carnegie Mellon University, Coyle was a professionally accomplished painter, specializing in non-objective art, and a long-term member of the Association Artists of Pittsburgh.

Coyle was also amember of the Pittsburgh Group, and several other local art leagues. She continued painting and showing well into her 90s, a testimony to her compulsion to explore her vision, often reflected in the natural world.

Her paintings are in national and private collections. This exhibition will be on display from April 3 to April 28. The reception will be held on Friday, April 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. and will coincide with , the , and Spring Music Fest. The exhibition and reception are both free to attend.
