Katherine E. “Katie” Westehoff

Katherine E. “Katie” Westehoff, age 79, a life-long resident of Haysville, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born in Glenfield on May 3, 1932 to the late Louis and Florence (Hanable) Westehoff.

Katie was the cherished sister of Anna B. Westehoff of Haysville, Jesse Westehoff (Marcia) of Sewickley, sister-in-law Carol (wife of the late Louis Westehoff) of Sewickley and the late Mary Jane Black (the late Harry) and the late Florence Ciocca (the late Rocco); five loving nieces and nephews Patty Derzipilski (Gary), Rose Ann Schoedel (Tim), Louis Ciocca, Amy Lanzarotta (Tom) and the late Charles Wesley Scott; numerous great nieces and nephews.

She was a faithful member of and their altar guild. She retired in 1994 from Chester Engineers. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was an avid reader.

Visitation Friday 2-4,7-9 at , 702 Beaver St. with prayer on Saturday at 9:30 AM followed by service at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 616 Washington Rd., Sewickley, at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Sewickley Cemetery. Family welcomes flowers or donations in her name to her church.
