Quaker Valley School District First And Second Grade Students Have Virtual Visit With Author

Matthew Cordell wrote Hello Neighbor: the Kind and Caring World of Mr. Rogers.

Students in first and second grade at both Edgeworth and Osborne Elementary Schools had the chance to hear from author Matthew Cordell.

He is a Caldecott Award winner (Wolf in the Snow) and will be sharing his newest book Hello Neighbor: the Kind and Caring World of Mr. Rogers. This is an illustrated biography of Pittsburgh's hometown hero.

The students visited with Matthew virtually, preparing for November 13, World Kindness Day.

Penguin Bookshop has graciously arranged this visit for us and our friends at Sewickley Academy and St. James Schools.
