Report: Two Men Injured in Moon Township Home Explosion

Investigators are working to determine what caused the explosion.

Two men were injured Saturday eveningΒ following a house explosion in Moon, according to reports.

According to WTAE-TV,Β Shawn Lan, 47, was inside the house atΒ 1656 Charlton Heights RoadΒ when the explosion happened.Β 

Moon police Capt. Gregory Seamon told reportersΒ the victim was found in the front yard under debris andΒ wasΒ flown to the hospital.Β

Allen Liscia, 61, who was insideΒ a house next door, was also rescued from debris andΒ taken by ambulanceΒ to a local hospital.Β 

The explosionΒ happened around 6:30 p.m. Saturday and shook other homes in the area. Neighbors have beenΒ evacuated.
