Rockin the Hollow

Rockin’ the Hollow, “Battle of the Bands” will be held on
the stunning grounds of the Fern Hollow Nature Center with a panoramic view of
the Sewickley Heights landscape. The music festival will highlight a “Battle of
the Bands” competition featuring Pittsburgh area high school and college bands.
Saturday, July 19, from 2p—6p. Vote for your favorite band event day!



Rich Engler, legendary Pittsburgh concert promoter,
inaugural inductee – Pittsburgh Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, and Sewickley resident
will be our celebrity guest for the event! Mr. Engler will have on display guitars
signed by some of the most celebrated musicians in Rock n Roll history. In addition,
he will have autographed copies of his book, Behind the Stage Door, available for
sale.



Pittsburgh Guitars, is a locally owned music store on the Historic
South Side of Pittsburgh. Owned by guitarist John Bechtold, and staffed by musicians,
Pittsburgh Guitars is the city's premiere guitar shop.

Rockin’ the Hollow will also feature a live art exhibition
featuring local artist from the Quaker Valley area, food truck, and tons of fun
for the family. We are anticipating an attendance of over 300 people.
