Rothfus Congratulates New American Citizens at Naturalization Ceremony

The ceremony was held Friday at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Pittsburgh.

Congressman KeithΒ Rothfus, R-Sewickley, attended a naturalization ceremony Friday at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum in Pittsburgh.

RothfusΒ presented more than 60 newly-sworn-in citizens from 34 countries with copies of the United States Constitution.

β€œI appreciated the opportunity to join my friend Juan Mata and over 60 other men and women as they recited the Oath of Allegiance,” saidΒ Rothfus said in a statement after attending.

β€œIt was an honor and privilege to welcome these newest citizens of our great nation.Β  Today’s ceremony reminded us why so many dream of coming to America: the opportunity to develop one’s God-given talents and to live and thrive in freedom, peace, and prosperity,” he said.
