• Buhl Regional Health Foundation awards local homeless shelter $1.5 million to serve women and children (wfmj.com) — A $1.5 million grant from the Buhl Regional Health Foundation will let Joshua’s Haven in Sharon expand to finally house women and children from Mercer County on-site. The project aims to add space for up to 16 residents, offering shelter plus health care connections, life-skills programs, and support to move into permanent housing. The shelter is working toward a $3 million total fundraising goal.
