• Shenandoah Valley Inducts Three Alumni into Wall of Fame (skooknews.com) — Shenandoah Valley School District has added three distinguished graduates to its Alumni Wall of Fame, honoring them during Monday’s commencement. Helene Creasy, Ronald P. Kalyan Jr., and Tom Twardzik shared messages about hard work, community, and supporting others, all rooted in the values they learned growing up in Shenandoah and Schuylkill County.
   

• Flames wreck Ryan Township home overnight (shensentinel.com) — Firefighters from Shenandoah and numerous neighboring communities helped battle an overnight house fire on Williams Street in Ryan Township, brought under control in about 40 minutes. No injuries were initially reported, and investigators are still working to determine what sparked the blaze that heavily damaged the multi-story home.
