• Rockwood man charged with attempted murder after shots fired at police (dailyamerican.com) — A Rockwood man is jailed in Somerset County after allegedly firing shots from his Upper Turkeyfoot Township home as state police and U.S. Marshals tried to serve a felony warrant. No officers were injured, and he later surrendered after calling 911, was transferred through the Somerset barracks, and now awaits an April 28 preliminary hearing with bail denied for community safety.
