Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21 was granted Program Approval to offer an alternate program leading to Level 1 Principal K-12 Certification by the Pennsylvania State Board of Education.
“This comprehensive program will enable qualified candidates in Carbon and Lehigh counties to come together to collaborate and participate in a viable, cost-effective, quality program” said Dr. Elaine E. Eib, Executive Director of CLIU #21.
The program is designed specifically to meet the increasing demand for accountability and student achievement. Educational leadership and standards of leadership are competencies required for instructional success; these competencies are defined by student learning and achievement. The program embodies CLIU #21’s commitment to provide current, relevant, and meaningful solutions for our schools. As an educational community, it is incumbent upon us to develop exceptional leaders for the future.
