DA Looks for Pair Who Used Dead Man’s Credit Cards

Lehigh County District Attorney James Martin is asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who he says were caught on surveillance videos using 's credit cards.

The district attorney released the photos Thursday in asking for the public's help. 

Less than 12 hours after Rubin's body was found on a remote portion of Applewood Drive in South Whitehall Township on Nov. 1, the two men used Rubin’s credit cards to make purchases at several stores at the Woodbury Commons Premium Outlets in Central Valley, N.Y., Martin said in the release.

Rubin's  along Applewood Drive, on a bend in the road between Huckleberry and Haasadahl roads, by a South Whitehall public works employee who was cleaning up tree branches after a weekend snowstorm. Rubin had been shot to death and the body set on fire, authorities said. The coroner has ruled the death a  

The Lehigh County District Attorney's Office and Coroner sought the public's help then too, releasing . Authorities , through DNA testing, that the body was Rubin's. 

As authorities worked to identify the body, Rubin's family searched for his whereabouts. Rubin lived at 100 Lawrence Ave., Brooklyn, N.Y., and operated the Whisk Café at 1119 Newkirk Ave. in Brooklyn. He was last seen there on Oct. 31 and his family reported him missing.
