What makes you proud of the Republican Party?

I am proud we follow the Constitution, where every person has the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Our Republican platform states every person deserves life, including the unborn. 2. Less government intrusion in our lives, less regulations on businesses. 3. Strong national defense.

* What issues matter in the Lehigh Valley?

I will have the opportunity to meet state, national leaders to help my district in bringing jobs to our district, and support for our school district. JOBS AND EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT are the two most important issues right now. Economy, education, strong national defense, overturn of Obamacare/new health program.

* What are you looking forward to at the Republican National Convention? I look forward to meeting Gov. Romney and Paul Ryan, hearing their message for the future of the country. Gov. [Chris] Christie, keynote speaker, should be outstanding; fiery, no holds barred speech. Seeing our own Sen. [Pat] Toomey and Congressman [Charlie] Dent making speeches. Enjoying every minutes, historical, time in our history, and enjoying Tampa Bay with my wife, Eva. I am thankful to the people of the 15th District for voting me to go  after almost dying two years ago from an accident. I am blessed, lucky, and thankful to be healthy enough to go.

Note: As a result of redistricting, all of Easton and Nazareth, and Bethlehem, Fork and Palmer townships, and parts of Bethlehem and Upper Nazareth Township are in the 17th Congressional District.
