Dozens of Properties Up for Dec. 16 Sheriff Sale

Dozens of properties are on the list for Friday's monthly Lehigh County Sheriff sale.

The list includes an opening bid and a total of back taxes owed on each property. Taxes owed on some properties to municipalities and school districts amount to more than $100,000.

Sales are held starting at 10 a.m. in Room 131 on the first floor of the Lehigh County Courthouse, Fifth and Hamilton Streets, Allentown.

The sale is a public auction and buyers must bid for properties, which are not available for inspection prior to the sale. More information is available on Lehigh County's website.
