Five Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash On Cedar Crest Boulevard

Five people were injured Wednesday night in a two-vehicle accident at Cedar Crest Boulevard and Huckleberry Road, according to South Whitehall police.

A mother and two of her young children remained hospitalized Thursday at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, said Cpl. David Gross. He said another of her children has been treated and released, as well as the driver of a pickup truck involved in the crash.

Gross said the mother was driving east on Huckleberry Road and failed to stop at a stop sign. Her vehicle was struck by the driver of a pickup truck traveling south on Cedar Crest Boulevard, he said.

The names of those injured have not yet been released. The accident occurred at 10:34 p.m.
