Former Cop Expected to Plead Guilty In Bank Robbery
According to federal court documents, Carl Holliday entered a plea agreement.

A former New Jersey police officer is expected to plead guilty in federal court to robbing in South Whitehall on Nov. 11, 2010 and six other banks and a drug store in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, according to federal court documents.
Carl Holliday, 33, of Vineland, N.J., committed the robberies between July 28 and Dec. 22, 2010, according to the documents.
In addition to the South Whitehall robbery, Holliday has been charged with robbing Susquehanna Bank in Harrison, N.J., on July 28; TD bank in Millville, N.J. on Oct. 15 and Nov. 4; PNC bank in White Haven on Nov. 18; TD bank in Lansdale on Dec. 9; Rite Aid in White Haven on Dec. 20; and Wachovia bank in Paulsboro, N.J. on Dec. 22, according to the court documents.

Holliday took $1,300 in the robbery at TD bank at 1603 N. Cedar Crest Blvd., South Whitehall, according to the documents.
Holliday was first indicted by a federal grand jury in January for robbing the PNC bank, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office at the time. He was identified in the release as a former police officer in Bridgeton, N.J., serving in 2006.

The additional charges against Holliday were filed Monday in the Middle District of Pennsylvania, in Scranton. As part of a plea agreement with federal authorities, Holliday will plead guilty to the charges, according to the federal court documents.
Holliday is scheduled to appear before U.S. District Judge Edwin Kozick in Scranton at 9 a.m. on March 17.
