Why Go: The tournament is named in memory of 2005 Parkland graduate Justin Sheftel, who was killed by a drunken driver in Ocean City, MD, shortly after his graduation. The money raised goes to scholarships and community contributions in Sheftel's name. You can cheer on teams, see old friends, eat good food, get recipes for tasty non-alcoholic drinks and support a good cause!

2. St. Joseph the Worker Church Festival

When/Where: Friday, Saturday and Sunday, June 15-17, on the grounds of . 

Why Go: Music, food, games, a flea market. Here's the lineup: Altar Ego plays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday; country band Steel Creek plays 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday; Howie Lessel plays from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. while Joe Stanky and the Cadets play from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday.

Pricing: You can purchase tickets for good and games.

When/Where: 7 p.m. on Friday, June 15, at Covered Bridge Park

Why Go: Enjoy a beautiful evening outdoors, listening to music and admiring nature. You get to "rock out" with Don Cunningham and Associates. Bring a blanket although there will also be picnic tables available. The concert is the township's first in the park and marks Lehigh County's Bicentennial. (And if this one's a success, maybe there will be more!)

4. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

When/Where: 10 a.m. June 15-16 at the Schubert Theater at DeSales University in Center Valley.

Why Go: This is one of the children's selections offered each summer by the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival.

Pricing: Adults, $16; Children, $12.

When/Where: 6 p.m. June 13-16 at the Lower Milford Twp. Fire Department in Coopersburg.

Why Go: Fireworks on Friday night, bands every night. And I hear they have a dunk tank. There's also a silent auction.

Pricing: Depends on how many ride tickets you buy!
