Inspector: April Fire at Barn Intentionally Set

It was the second fire at the barn in four months.

The April fire at a vacant, landmark barn on Springhouse Road in South Whitehall was intentionally set, according to township Fire Inspector John G. Frantz.

It was the second time in four months that firefighters battled a blaze there.

Frantz said the fire was confined to a rear portion of the barn, and he was able to get into the structure to make his determination.
