Last Chance: See How They Danced on the Titanic

You can commemorate the 100th anniversary of the maiden voyage of the Titanic on Thursday as Parkland Community Library hosts "The Titanic: a Salute through Dance."
It's one night only -- , at 6:30 p.m. at the , 5103 Snowdrift Road, Orefield.

The program is free and open to the public but RSVP to 610-398-1361.
Commonwealth speakers Nancy Walker and Jef Savage of Danza Antiqua, dressed in period clothing, will perform social dances from the Titanic era and discuss the importance of dance in its cultural and social context. There will be musical excerpts and stories of personalities, like the "Unsinkable" Molly Brown.
