South Whitehall police responded to a number of incidents from Jan. 11-17.

According to South Whitehall police, the following incidents and arrests occurred in the township from Jan. 11 -- Jan. 17:

--  Charged with retail theft and conspiracy to commit retail theft at 7:23 p.m. on Jan. 13, Lara Brantley, 22, of Breinigsville, and Teeaira Butler, 25, of Allentown; at Target; clothes and handbags allegedly taken, but recovered by the store.

-- Charged in connection with leaving the scene of an accident at 9:43 p.m. on Jan. 11, Marc Henninger, 29, of Schnecksville; stemming from a two-car mishap at Route 309 and Walbert Ave. According to the affidavit, Henninger told police the other driver was yelling at him, he got scared and left scene.

--  Brothers Joseph Grisafi, of Allentown, and Charles Grisafi, of Whitehall, turned themselves into police at 4:30 p.m. on Jan. 15. Warrants for their arrest had been issued by District Judge Jacob Hammond, stemming from an alleged Christmas Eve assault against their father and threats against their father's girlfriend. 

-- Arrested on drug-related charges at 11:38 p.m. on Jan. 14, Nathaniel Rufe-Durkin, 18, of Coplay; charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphenalia and unauthorized use of a vehicle; after an officer stopped a vehicle in the 1800 block of Molinaro Drive because its headlights were out. A juvenile was also arrested in the case.

-- Charged with retail theft at 2:39 p.m. on Jan. 17, Danny Ray Arnold, 38, of Gatesville, Texas; at Target; GPS and batteries allegedly taken but recovered by store.

-- Charged with simple assault and harassment shortly after midnight on Jan. 17, Alyse Ehrenberg, 39; allegedly scratched husband. 

--  Property damage reported at 4:16 p.m. on Jan. 11, at Charles and Belmont streets; "no parking" sign knocked over.

-- Hit and run reported at 4:54 p.m. on Jan. 11, at Target; vehicle struck in the parking lot.

-- Theft reported at 7:18 p.m. on Jan. 11, at LA Fitness; cell phone taken.

-- Theft reported at 6:15 p.m. on Jan. 13, at Springhouse Middle School; Apple iPhone taken.

-- Retail theft reported at 5:19 p.m. on Jan. 13, at Kmart; hair dye and undergarments taken.

-- Burglary reported at 1:49 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Orefield Middle School; concession stands, windows broken; nothing was taken.

-- Burglary reported at 9 a.m. on Jan. 17, in the 1900 block of Grove St.; jug of change taken from garage.

-- Theft reported at 7:12 a.m. on Jan. 17, in the 3800 block of Walbert Ave., copper wire stolen.

-- Theft reported at 8:53 a.m. on Jan. 17, at Parkway Road and Dylan Drive, street sign taken.

--  Attempted theft reported at 11:56 a.m. on Jan. 17, in the 1400 block of North 21st Street; vehicle entered but nothing taken.

-- Reported harrassments at 11:56 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. on Jan. 17, in the 3900 block of Turner Street, eggs thrown at vehicles.

-- Theft reported at 12:25 p.m. on Jan. 17, in the 4700 block of Huckleberry, Xbox 360 and game taken.
