A man leaving the  gym at 1515 Mauch Chunk Road this week was robbed of a $4,000 gold necklace in the parking lot, South Whitehall Police said. The robbery was reported mid-week at 2:31 p.m. The suspect is described as a dark-skinned Hispanic male who left in a black Honda Odyssey, police said. The victim told police he saw a gun in the man's waistband.
