Police Blotter: Burglary, Thefts, And Arrests Among Reports

The following information was supplied by the South Whitehall police department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

According to South Whitehall police, the following were among the incidents that were reported in the township from Dec. 31 to Jan. 4.

Burglary

-- A television and computer were taken from the 3800 block of Turner Street; reported at 7:57 a.m. on Jan. 3.

Theft

-- A purse, $20, calculator, iPod charger and clothing were taken from the , 3712 Hamilton Blvd; reported at 7:51 p.m. on Jan. 4.

-- A license plate was taken from a vehicle in the 2100 block of Walbert Avenue; reported at 8:51 a.m. on Jan. 4.

-- A wallet, $4, credit cards and a Social Security card were taken from ; reported at 1:14 a.m. on Jan. 3.

Theft from Vehicle

-- $3 in change and vehicle registration were taken from a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Valley Forge Road; reported at 1:50 p.m. on Jan. 4.

Charged:

-- David Killins, 27, of Allentown, with simple assault; stemming from a dispute reported at 2:10 p.m. on Jan. 2 in the 3700 block of Broadway.

Charged:

--Nelida Carazo, 58, of Allentown; and son Joseph Carazo, 30, of Allentown, each with simple assault and harassment; reported at 3:10 p.m. on Dec. 31 in the 1000 block of N. Cedar Crest Boulevard. 

Stolen Car Recovered

-- A stolen black Impala was found at the Quality Inn and towed to the Allentown Police Department’s impound; found at 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 2.

Bicycle Found

-- A silver Roadmaster mountain bike was found at , at 1:33 a.m. on Dec. 29
