Police Blotter: Reports of Criminal Mischief, Retail Thefts, Counterfeit Money
South Whitehall police responded to a number of incidents from April 5 to 11.

According to police, the following incidents and arrests occurred in the township from April 5 to 11:
-- Theft reported at 9:55 a.m. on April 5, at Lexus of Lehigh Valley, in the 4500 block of Broadway; two inspection stickers and two emissions stickers taken.
-- Theft from vehicle reported at 12:11 p.m. on April 5, at the Village West shopping center, 3100 Tilghman Street; laptop computer, two cellphones, briefcase, calculator and sneakers taken.

-- Arrested on a charge of possession of a small amount of marijuana, Carlos Costillo, 19, of Allentown, at 8:46 p.m. on April 5, at PJ Welihans.
-- One person was reported injured in a two-vehicle accident at 5:24 p.m. on April 5, at Route 309 and the Tilghman Street eastbound ramp.

-- A 6-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle and slightly injured at 6:17 p.m. on April 5, in the 5200 block of Blue Sky Drive in Orefield.
-- Retail theft was reported at 3 p.m. on April 5 at Target; two 32-inch TVs valued at $700 were taken.
-- Forgery reported at 3:30 p.m. on April 5 at Target; 13 counterfeit $100 bills were passed.
-- Arrested on charges of retail theft at 2:30 p.m. on April 6, at K-Mart, Kevin Peralta, 22, of Bethlehem, and Marilyn Perez, 19, of Bethlehem; allegedly attempted to take Playstation 3/XBox 360 games, controllers and sunglasses.
-- Theft from vehicle reported at 2:30 p.m. on April 6, at LA Fitness; credit cards and identification taken.
-- Criminal mischief reported at 9:21 p.m. on April 6, at the Comfort Suites, 3712 Hamilton Blvd.; ATM machine knocked over, plastic cover damaged.
-- Arrested on suspicion of DUI, at 3:51 p.m. on April 7, at Cedar Crest Boulevard and Walbert Avenue, Wael Samaan, 18, of Allentown; charges pending blood-alcohol test results.
-- Theft from vehicle reported at 8:44 a.m. on April 7, in the 5000 block of Chapmans Road; window smashed and wallet taken.
-- Criminal mischief reported at 6:45 a.m. on April 8, in the 1300 block of Devon Circle; driver's side of vehicle shot out.
-- Criminal mischief reported at 7:44 a.m. on April 8, in the 3700 block of Highland Street; ornamental lights damaged.
-- Criminal mischief reported at 8:44 a.m. on April 8, in the 200 block of North 40th Street; trash cans dumped on lawn, swastika spray-painted in black on vehicle.
-- Theft reported at 12:15 p.m. on April 8, at Coachworks, 1546 N. 18th St.; inspection and emissions stickers taken.
-- One person was reported injured in a two-vehicle accident in the 200 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard, at 3:24 p.m. on April 8; two vehicles were towed from the scene.
-- One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident in the 300 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard, at 3:41 p.m. on April 8.
-- Theft from vehicle reported at 8:15 a.m. on April 9, in the 2000 block of Fairmont Street; four handguns taken.
-- Arrested on charges of reckless endangerment, fleeing and disorderly conduct, Anthony Sulpizio, 53, of Bath; at 5:15 p.m. on April 7, at Tilghman Square.
-- Two people reported injured in a three-vehicle accident at 7:53 p.m. on April 8, at Tilghman Street and Parkway Road; listed as a hit-and-run.
-- One person was reported injured in a one-vehicle accident at 3:42 p.m. on April 9, on Cedar Crest Boulevard, south of Huckleberry Road.
-- Criminal mischief reported at 8:54 a.m. on April 10, in the 3500 block of Birch Avenue; ornamental lights damaged and mailbox smashed.
-- Criminal mischief reported at 1:10 p.m. on April 10, in the 3400 block of Lindberg Avenue; mailbox damaged.
-- Criminal mischief reported at 4:19 p.m. on April 11, in the 1100 block of North 26th Street; convertible top sliced with sharp object.
