Police Botter: Theft of Steel Beams Among Reports
The following information was supplied by the South Whitehall police department.

According to South Whitehall police, the following were among the incidents that were reported in the township from Jan. 5 to Jan. 12.
Thefts
-- Three steel beams were stolen from 3178 Tilghman St.; reported at 12:16 p.m. on Jan. 10.

-- Keys were taken from ; reported at 10:41 a.m. on Jan. 11.
-- Cellphones were taken from ; one was reported at 10:50 a.m. on Jan. 11; another reported at 10:45 a.m. on Jan. 6, and another reported at 11 a.m. on Jan. 5.

-- A purse was taken from Planet Fitness; reported at 10:59 p.m. on Jan. 9.
-- A black/blue/purple knit hat was taken from on Broadway; reported at 11 p.m. on Jan. 6.
-- $68 was taken from Parkland High School; reported at 8 a.m. on Jan. 6.
Burglary
-- Nothing was reported taken in a break-in to a property in the 2600 block of Orefield Road; reported at 12:45 p.m. on Jan. 7.
Criminal mischief
-- An egg was thrown on a vehicle, and became frozen there, in the 1800 block of Hemming Way; reported at 3 a.m. on Jan. 5.
Accidents
-- One person was injured in a one-vehicle crash in the 700 block of Route 309 South, at 6:14 a.m. on Jan. 12; the vehicle was towed from the scene.
-- Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash at Route 309 and Snowdrift Road, at 4 p.m. on Jan. 9. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Hit and Run
-- A vehicle drove through a yard at 2528 Jordan Road, striking a decorative black wall and mailbox; reported at 2:42 a.m. on Jan. 9. Police said the vehicle fled. No description of the vehicle was given.
