Police Warn of Scam

They said someone has knocked on doors, fraudulently claiming to be from the township water company.

South Whitehall police are cautioning residents about a scam.

They said someone is going door to door claiming to be from the township water company and needing to check for leaks. Officer Jerome Cramer said the person is not from the township, and that the township water company is not sending out staff door-to-door.

Cramer said those who are approached should contact police at 610-398-0337 or 610-437-5252.
