Race Not Over Yet For Parkland School Board Seats
Six candidates will be on the ballot for five seats.
There will be a race, after all, in the November general election for five seats on the Parkland School Board.
Incumbent board members , , and won both the Democratic and Republican nominations in the May 17th primary, and are therefore virtually assured of a win in their re-election bids since they will be on both ballots.
However, incumbent , who has no party affiliation, won only a Democratic nomination, and , a Republican, won only a Republican nomination in official tallies, Lehigh County voter registration officials said. They will, in essence, square off for that fifth seat.

Evans was hoping to also win the Republican nomination as a write-in candidate, but she did not receive enough write-ins to boot Reyburn from the fall lineup, officials said. Reyburn had said he would not seek write-in votes for the Democratic nod.
