Race Results: Parkland School Board
It will be two weeks or so until it's known whether there will be a contest in the fall.
Incumbent Parkland School Board members , , and won both the Democratic and Republican nominations in Tuesday's primary, according to unofficial vote tallies.
The four are virtually assured of their re-election bid in the November general election since they will again appear on both ballots.
, who has no party affiliation, also won a Democratic nomination, and , a Republican, won a Republican nomination in unofficial tallies.

The wild card, however, is whether Evans received enough write-in votes on the Republican ballot in the primary to boot Reyburn from the fall line-up. The write-ine votes will not be counted for two weeks or so, voter registration officials have said.
Evans was planning a write-in campaign for the Republican nod, but Reyburn had said he would not seek write-in votes for the Democratic nod.

According to unofficial tallies, the vote totals are as follows on the Republican ballot:
Kennedy, 2,334;
Adams, 2,349;
Marcus, 2,247;
Bold, 2,175;
Reyburn, 2,001.
