Road Work This Week

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced the following road projects for this week:

* Wednesday, Dec. 28

Crews will cut brush on Route 22, between Route 309 and Cedar Crest Boulevard, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be lane restrictions.

* Friday, Dec. 30

Crews will cut brush on Snowrift Road, between Route 309 and Hilltop Road, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This will be a moving operation, with shoulder restrictions.

* Friday, Dec. 30

Crews will seal cracks on Walbert Avenue, between Route 309 and 19th Street, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. 

There will be lane restrictions, with flagging.

In all instances, rain will cause delays.

Motorists are urged to watch for stopped vehicles and to use caution when travelling through the work area.
