Schlossberg To Run for State Representative

Allentown City Councilman Mike Schlossberg is entering the race for the state House seat in the 132nd District, which covers portions of South Whitehall.

Democrat Mick Schlossberg announced Wednesday that he is entering the race for the state House seat for the 132nd District, which covers portions of South Whitehall.

The seat is currently held by Jennifer Mann, who is not seeking re-election

Schlossberg is vice president of Allentown City Council.  He is employed by the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, where he works to help small businesses in the region to create jobs.

Schlossberg will officially kick off his campaign at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, at the West End Youth Center, 828 N. 20th St., Allentown.

The 132nd district, which also covers portions of Allentown, is one of three that covers South Whitehall, the result of . The township is also covered by the 134th state House seat, which was held by Republican Doug Reichley, and the 183rd, represented by Republican Julie Harhart
