South Whitehall police officers, crime watch members and local sponsors will offer a family style event with food, exhibits by local law enforcement agencies and departments and children’s activities. All residents are welcome to attend the event, which is free.

National Night Out, a nationwide event held every year on the first Tuesday of August, is designed to heighten awareness of crime prevention programs and generate support for local anti-crime programs. Those who attend can meet their neighbors and the police officers who serve the community.
