South Whitehall Officials Look to Replace Welcome Signs
Proposed 2012 budget includes money to replace 'welcome' signs throughout township. Take our poll.

The last time came up with a concept and logo for its township "welcome" signs, Ronald Reagan was president, "Top Gun" was one of the top grossing films, and the Cosby Show was number one on television.
Now, 25 years later, South Whitehall officials are looking to rebrand.
The includes $7,200 to replace the "Welcome to South Whitehall" signs at its borders into the township. Officials also want to upgrade the signs' lettering and design.

Township officials will vote on the budget in December.
The public works department is requesting the money to replace 20 rectangular signs, which currently feature white lettering on blue background. The estimated cost would include new posts and hardware, as well as five additional signs in case any of the signs are damaged in traffic accidents and have to be replaced.
