Three Local Teens Perform With Jersey Surf Drum Corps
The Jersey Surf Drum & Bugle Corps are in competitions along the East Coast.
Two Parkland High School students and one alum are among the musicians in the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps, which participated last weekend in the Drum Corps International Eastern Classic Championship at J. Birney Crum stadium in Allentown.
Daisy Lee, who will be a senior at Parkland in the fall, plays marimba for the group, which is based in Camden County, N.J.
Tom Czajkowski, who will be a junior, plays rack; and Dan Rahusen, who graduated from Parkland in June, plays snare.

She reports that the group has been on tour since June 18, performing from Rhode Island to Alabama. They are now in Indianapolis, where DCI finals are being held, but will return home after a DCI parade Saturday.
