Township to Flush Water Mains
The South Whitehall water department cautions its customers that momentary pressure loss and cloudy water, if they do occur, would be temporary.
The water department will flush its water mains in a routine procedure beginning Monday, April 23. The work will continue through Friday, July 13.
According to information on the township website, the department will make "every effort" to not interrupt water service to its customers.
The department cautions that momentary pressure loss during late evening to early morning and a period of cloudy water, if they do occur, would be temporary.
"Please understand these conditions are temporary and should pass within a few minutes," the notice reads. "There is no cause for alarm."

Those who have questions can call the South Whitehall Township water department Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 610-398-0407.
